Cocooning
Snow again last evening
Late since I was fast asleep
The window cracked open
Feather bed quilts heaped
Morning finds me lazing here
Fire in the grate coffee in hand
Pajamas sweater recliner inclined
Pensive now but pleasantly so
Yesterday's supper too much of all
Now the peace of an empty room
Such is the contented aftermath
A Boxing Day in my cocoon
