For Zoya: Here it is, my repost of "October Bliss". I hope that you like it..again:) Hehehehe.

October bliss

In the distance, day is dawning,
I miss the moon's immaculate rays...

The smell of autumn is rising...
how I adore these October days.

The trees hold a prism of colour
I love the sound of leaves beneath my feet.
The orange and red, the colour of heat.

One by one the leaves fall down, and my smile fades...

A very colorful and lovely poem. Autumn is my favorit month of the year.

How I love autumn...I long for it so every year even though summers can be short up in the north . And all I love about it you told so well here.. (my birthday is on halloween-night)
why did I write that now.... well, guess your poem, as well as Zoyas, just re-lightet my autumn longing.
ps. excellent flow in rhymes.

Teala, I am so glad you reposted, because I would have never read this. How much I would have missed. This filled me with the loveliness of October, my favorite month. I know that sad feeling too when the leaves fall leaving the trees bare. The nakedness and chill of winter is near at hand when the beauty of fall lies neglected and brown by the wayside. Excellent work!! kathy
