Cont. of series on the 7 Deadly Sins.
Uncaring, unmoved
By any scene of poverty
Children in rags
On the street corner
Begging only for
A few scraps of food
Sitting at his table
Before him
Ham, chicken, potatoes
Pastas with cream sauce
Cake, pies, and Turkish Delight
There is no need for a fork
Just shove it in
Grinning all the while
Through the window you can see him
In his own little world
Gorging himself
With more and more
Faces at the window
Salavating
For
Just
One
Taste

7 Deadly Sins-Gluttony
He sits in his chair, all powerfulUncaring, unmoved
By any scene of poverty
Children in rags
On the street corner
Begging only for
A few scraps of food
Sitting at his table
Before him
Ham, chicken, potatoes
Pastas with cream sauce
Cake, pies, and Turkish Delight
