Splinter

1am Driving in your car.
I can feel the cross hairs in your stare brush my cheek and those point blank words that shoot like bullets from your lips.
Leaving a smoke trail so thick I can't see through, the kind that seeps through door frames at night,
when time stands still and overlaps; exit wounds.
Glass masks fractured and cracked.
You had my whole heart on your tongue, the fog clears and hazard lights on; we lay.
You stay, under my skin like splinters.

Eric Fronczak
this is very heartfelt, I feel your pain. Music is forming, this could be a great song.
