Would you kiss me?
Would you kiss me if I asked you?I wonder every day.
Would you do it, if I asked you?
Or would you turn away?
I fear the truth, yet long to know,
But still I dare not speak.
For it takes strength to ask a kiss,
And near you I am weak.
Would you kiss me? We'll never know.
Unless someday, somehow,
You read these lines and realise
That I am asking, now.
