Spring Restaging

Sweeping winter’s detritus

Garage floor set for spring

The grime and salt ubiquitous

Dry dirt and dust motes flying

Washed down sparkling

The cars now banished

To outdoor life til frosting

has  fall's leaves burnished

Converted now a summer pavilion

A cool and pleasant Shangri La

Where friends mingle eve'n long

With wine and potluck in Arcadia

Dave said what I wanted to! What I like about your writing, too, is the playfulness, the holy joy, I often find in it, even when you discuss "sweeping winter's detritus."

Sounds delightful. Let's hope that we'll be able to do such things again.
