From long ago and far away but still vivid in my recollections
A Day Of Indulgence
Crepes and strawberries
A touch of creme fraiche
Grass under bare feet and fairies
Sun bright and winds brisk
Seacliffs and birds calling their song
Checkered cloths with cold chicken
Chilled Sancerre and gruyere belong
To a feast to make the heart quicken
Winds buffet our clothes
Sun singes our skin
Your eyes alive
My heart in a spin
It ends by a fire
In a cottage serene
Your head on my chest
Our future a dream
