I died long time back

I died long time back
Buried in the soil of my homeland
Where I was wandering freely
My spirit was at its pure
Innocent people were my friend
And a beautiful hand caresses my hand
The day...
I bid adieu to my soil
I left my soul also

I empathise with those who had to leave their homeland for one reason or another, but given a choice they would have stayed.I like the emotion of this poem.It is so short yet it carries with it what a thousand words would never ever describe...."I died a long time back"...because when I bid adieu to my soil,I left my soul also.....this is simply classic....and I hope taht one day you will get a chance to go back where you belong:).BEAUTIFUL.
