Afghani Girl
Agony and questions in eyes
Turbulence and storm in silent voice
A face, hanged in flowing time
Oh...! That face, still awakened in my dreams,
Asked to me, in a weeping tone,
Chances are there, that,
You never passed through war and pain,
Life comes to you unruffled and peaceful
But look at me ....
My most beautiful years had passed away
In the vain and wandering
And sorrow like a brazen cloud,
Hovering in my eyes,
Which always shine, but never rained
If I were born in peace....
I also deserve a rose and a heavenly kiss
But my beloved descendent
May you never feel; this grief
And the divine morning always shine for you
This is my silent wish
