A quick rhyme royal. Might turn this into a longer piece.

June Capers

Sweet shadow, tiny dancing dog
In late spring sunlight bounding free
Through buttercups, through field and bog
My colleague in high revelry
No bliss on Earth compares for me
To sun-warmed grass and skies of blue
And frolicking, my friend, with you

After a miserable May in lukewarm Lancashire, I have entered June with this ray of sunshine! I have read it out to Jess - our border collie-flower - and she would like you to develop the poem.

Keep capering!

This is a nicely written poem with a good spirit, a pleasure to read. My family has had up to seven canine members, now down to two thanks to Father Time.
