Strange how a wet and rainy day saps the energy out of your plans

Tecumseh Road

Sluggish rains with nowhere else to go

Grey the road and  green the grass

Hobbling my erstwhile plans alas

Contemplating today’s pale indigo

Aimless now with nowhere else to go

Ennui dissolves all my paltry goals as

Sullen drops on the windshield glass

Driving on a sodden Tecumseh road

As the wipers metronome

A perfunctory beat

Indigo

Indigo
indigo

I’m afraid I’m the master of comments that are no help at all. But I liked this poem very much. Thank you for sharing it with us.
