Peace Not Gained But Rather Found
Elusive is the prize of peace
Ego demands we race and struggle
To acquire its presence
Through deeds of prideful effort
Peace is not gained but rather found
In the desiccation of an empty scape
Free of clamorous wants spurious needs
Prideful struts and momentous strifes
Devoid of self and filled with love
