Two dogs, a camera, and a sunburned man

Two dogs a camera and a sunburned man
walk their way to a beachfront bar
They stand upon a large Turkish rug
Five bamboo chairs smell like coconut

The man throws down a bloated wallet,
“Tequila for all” in a thick German accent
The bartender rolls his eyes in reflex
and wipes the cliche from his brow

The dogs lick sea salt from his sandals
He swats them away with a dampened napkin
Lifting his camera he takes a blurred selfie
a sad Caribbean postcard

My favourite tequila quote..."Tequila probably won’t fix your problems but it’s worth a shot.”....it may be sad but at least his dogs love him.
