I dedicate this poem to my lovely son, Onyeka---who introduced me to this site on his return from India---

Men and Geckos

Men!
Three men!
Watching me from the rooftops
As I scrub my back in the bathtub

Spiders!
Four spiders!
They hover all through the webs
Smelling the fresh scents of my Nivea perfume

Geckos!
Many geckos!
Hiding their faces as I roll into the bed
With my nightgown covering my starched beauty

Then I should make my own critique on this. Mom, there is too much of this 'romance' and 'seduction' alluding here. Do you want to convey to us a more refined texture of beauty and arrogance, appalled to the reels of the poem.

Anyway, keep it up.

Thank you so much Marjan. Onyeka has told me so much about you. Just wait, your Mom will soon get the thrills and begin one.
