One too many

You cant blame me
Being loved is easy to get used to
And you cant shame me
For wanting your attention once more

But my manicure has gotten out of date
And i cant afford the waxing that you need
Even though I vowed to you i'd wait
But its late and Ive already lost so much sleep

There was one too many drinks
That made you happy
One too many hours spent with them
There was one too many jokes that made her smile
And one too many promises you broke

There was one too many nights that I missed out on
One too many hours spent alone
One too many seconds spent in silence
And one too many promises you broke

Clearly a fool, isn't he!
A poem to read more than once, for every reading will reveal more secrets. Nice one.
