My Teddy Bear
My dear bearcant wait to hold you
in my arms
and burrrow myself
in you.
You call me by one name
but i am another
you find me in one state
and take me to another
You are so magical
and yet so real
Very much like this air
touching me
and this tree looking at me
with arms outstreched
and this dewy flower
so open and soft
gazing ever so tenderly
at me through half opened
petals of your eyes
and those leaves that stir
at the note of my voice
and that lake blue
that is deep and serene
forever inviting me
to wade in its waters
and that shaheen bird that perches
on the top branch of the tallest of trees
making me fancy his lofty swag
and that welcoming grass
i spread myself out
to rest and play
and this book in my hand
its words seeping into me
landscaping my soul
while widening my horizons.
