Best of days

To shrink down to the size of an insect,
Or a bird to listen to what they say.
To be able to communicate that way,
That would be my best of days.

I would love to go on a picnic.
With the bumblebee and the ants,
If I ever had the chance,
No wait; I think I already have.

I don't know why but I've always thought that birds are really vulgar. I hope we get to talk to them some day

@ Urban Duck: How wonderful would that be ... working for the common good. :)
@ Alan: As usual you bring a smile to the face of the reader in the unexpected twist to your verse.

being an insect is having a tough life
worst than being a dinosaur
but maybe, the number of humans
always growing on this planet
shall have the same life
