Not the cleanest pantoum, but a thought in my head at a recital

Lost in Melody (a Pantoum)

A melody ransoms my mind,
wrapped up in a lost memory,
the kind of which I feer to find.
Its tune sings of dark reverie.

Wrapped up in a lost memory,
I sit idly humming a song
(its tune sings of dark reverie).
Paralyzed, I tarry too long.

I sit idly humming a song,
a somber melodic refrain.
Paralyzed, I tarry too long,
faltering, unable to sustain.

A somber melodic refrain
the kind of which I fear to find:
faltering, unable to sustain,
a melody ransoms my mind.
