Ignoring You

I saw you had called me a few times today,
but I didn't answer 'cause there's nothing to say.
You only call when you have a need,
but I didn't answer 'cause there's nothing to see.

You said it yourself, "It's best if we don't speak,"
so don't come to me for what it is you seek.
Even if you were made for me,
then the gods were angry, angry at me.
