Strindberg's Principle

oh that I would live, live alive,
live within Strindberg’s Principle
hence I write and am glad
to be sad and wicked and good
and mostly glad
that with my hand speak
the words of man, woman, or child,
to be both pauper or prince,
opinionated or agnostic,
religious or irreverent,
period voiced or present
contemporaneous,
wherein myself, nowhere to see.
Just to be read and be heard,
dulcet or discordant harmony.
