I am daily sickened by injustice, ignorance, stupidity, and arrogance. I'm no angel, but at least I try!

CONTRADICTIONS

If ever was needed another example
Of how the British government is
Basically corrupt of Statesmanship
Lacking in integrity and good intent
We have the resignation of a 'Sir'
With his tail between his legs...
Smugly grinning whilst departing
Knowing he will be quite all right -
A pension, a golden handshake of sorts,
And dubiuous mates to pat his back...
Whilst in a tenement high and grey
A lonely soul, cold and hungry,
Who fought for Queen and Country,
Counts out thirty-one pennies
He must make last three weeks.
Please Note: at his departing
Comes Sir's reward: It's heavy and cold
And bears the label 'Karma'...
It is a mere mortals final hope.

Yes, it sickens me to my stomach. I feel betrayed, why bother working hard all your life to have what little you have left taken to pay for your final years, and then they come back and gather up your dignity for their own fat wallets.

The political class Vs Leadership are two different things. They come to power stepping on other people and thats how they remain - pull some strings and when they get a kick-they lick, just may be.

A contradiction is a contradiction in itself.
The poor get the blarney,
While the rich get the wealth.

Yes, we can't know until the time comes, but we can hope that there is justice somewhere in the cosmos.
