Funeral day
Marie's mum.
Having to take the pink elevator.
Rather than climb the golden stairs,
And that all your love that you gave.
Will come on back to you,
It must have been a joyous sight.
To hear the angels sing,
To see your son David waiting there.
You see mum here's the thing,
All the phones in heaven are free phones.
So if you're ever feeling lonely,
Why not give all your kids a ring.
It would be the in thing to do,
There's only a few things.
more for me to say,
Your Mars bar missing you.
Since you passed away,
Our love for you is true.
Mum don't you look pretty in pink,
Goodnight mum and may God bless you.
