when this year wasn't yet
and all of last was all new
knew that of lives touched
and lives' courses changed
not a recollection remained

looking up into what is and
all that is yet to transpire

know that lives will touch
and cross and intertwine
again life courses to change
making of new memories
exchange of worthy range
round as rings to engage
