The Promise

A secret rests in human hands
it conquers time - its flowing sand

Hold me close, throughout this night
underneath the stars upon their velvet sky

In the morning we will walk, among these pines
in the warmth of a growing light

There is a promise that cannot be broken
sealed in hearts - no words spoken

Beneath this flamimg sun;

I'll be yours, you'll be mine
to the end - and far beyond
