BEYOND CONSUMMATION
So in the morning - like any other -
will you just for once hold me
with arms that encircle my trunk
and squeeze to join our skins?
Circling like a water vortex
each on seperate sides,
giddy with the spinning
pulled outwards we go
never sliding down the wall
into the whirlwind core.
Arms that cannot reach across
bent by centrifugal force -
fingertips longing to touch
fail to find the strength
to fight the power divide.
On one side a doing love
on the other touch and feel,
in the middle untouchable
on the outside transfixed
stuck till the end of time
bled by the love arrow
that passed through one
and embedded in the other.
