to be a player
to grace the
stage
so strange
so ungracefully
half asleep
unconsciously

awakening is painful
but real
more real
than what
drugs do
what
love does
to you
and me...

yes both love and drugs can be strongly interrelated, intertwined but it has indeed nothing in common imo
love is a bond that is supposed to make you free
and drug is for sure an enslavement
