What it could be

Snatches of you and me
Tasting what it could be

Having to stand on my tippy toes
and grab the keys out of your hand
Leaning on you in the jacuzzi
Trying on your shorts
cos I’m out of options
Sitting on cane swings
and how we got up to dance

My wish for you
is a thousand handwritten letters
From a girl who enjoys
being tickled by your stubble
on her bare skin

I'm not the girl but
I'll be thinking of you
when the wind kisses my neck
