What is constancy but presence~
there always
quietly or boldly, there, always.
Withholding judgment, or
in silent judgment, or
no judgment at all, acceptance~
God knows, that is the creative power
between here and there
the comings and goings, of the simplest of things~
Entering a living room, for one
opening a book,
looking out a window, frosty by winter-breath~
and seeing what? a vision, a scene, the plain, the mundane,
or you, seeing you—there, or not there, always~
