ginkgo

More wistful now than poignant,
Whistling softly with the wind,
Dancing dapples of recollection,
Allow forgetfulness to begin.

Whirling notions stirred aloft,
Willowy wisps in pirouettes,
Patina-ed shimmer intertwines,
Sure Hope no regret can forget.
