Their feet, but they don't notice. What they're told is that the things
Which threaten them, the immigrants, the angry blacks, and those
Whose genders don't conform to well-established categories, are
About to be erased. The poor will starve. The sick will die. These
Things aren't of concern to them. They want no more than to be told
That they're their Savior's chosen people, and that they'll be left
Alone to watch survival shows.
