Why I am So Miserable

When I go to sleep tonight, I'll fail. That's what I always do.
My house will flood. I'll miss my plane. I will not have
My schoolwork done. The lives I live when I'm unconscious
Bleed into this waking life, in which I stumble, fearing failure.
Is that what I always face? It's hard to know. I'd say it is
Because my dreams affect me more than what I think I see.
