Maybe Not

You keep coming up with reasons why you will not live with me.
My oven's small. My bathroom lacks a tub. The hallway smells
Of curry. All are true, but should they matter? You don't have
A place to stay, and we've been having fun together, mostly here,
You must admit. When warmer weather comes, we could enjoy
It on my balcony. The bus stop's just a block away. Imagine
How convenient it would be if, after we'd had dinner, you already
Were at home. Move in, Emma. I don't understand what has
Been stopping you. We both agree we love each other, don't
We? Maybe not.
