Say Goodbye

We know that many, nearly most, of us endorse this fascist thug.
We're fine with him embracing death and hunger, gagging any
Voice which disagrees, and sneering at, and shutting out, all those
Who've proven to have skin which is too dark, or who have wombs.
He is our nation's ugly face, the one we once had tried to hide,
But, now, because we're old and broken, spoiled, stupid, insecure,
So many of us cheer him on, while those who don't sit, silent,
Acquiescing to his evil acts. For that, even those who oppose
Him should expect to find that they are in the cross hairs
Of the billions who would like to see us gone. They'll act,
In time. You needn't protest. Whether you're among the ones
Who celebrate his ugliness, or you sit home and wring your
Hands, they'll come for you because they must, with drones
And missiles, bare hands, rifles, keen to wrench away our lives.
Begging for forgiveness will not help you. You will be ignored.

They've long ago concluded we should die.
