I know it sounds more like a love poem but this poem is about my dad, and it's an older poem (by a couple months) and I read it now and I feel this towards someone else...
but I was mistaken.
I was distracted by the cover
without looking inside.
I know now what's inside
and I have nothing but bad feeling for you.
I thought you loved me,
but I was mistaken.
You showed all of the signs.
You made me laugh, smile, and be happy;
but never truly happy.
I thought this feeling would never end
but I was mistaken.
You did something I thought was impossible
you lied.
You lied straight to my face without hesitation
but I guess the truth hurts.
And in the end
I hate you
And that's not a mistake.
