this is something i wrote last night, it is a working title so suggestions of alternative titles would be greatly appreciated
Has this sugared fruit gone sour?
Is it still within my power to ask?
I know not what you are thinking,
See the poison that you're drinking
And i feel that we are sinking tonight
So pick up this broken hammer
Fix up all your misspelt grammar
Through the pounding clash and clamour soaring
Words still suffocate like clouds
Like those big rush-hour crowds
While the darkness creeps, enshrouds us all
Keep on trying to play the part
Hold resolve right from the start
So you won't cry on depart from me
Formulate excuses weak
Think not of a future bleak
No sounds left for us to speak, you're gone

Adieu, My Love
Time is like a blooming flowerHas this sugared fruit gone sour?
Is it still within my power to ask?
I know not what you are thinking,
See the poison that you're drinking
And i feel that we are sinking tonight
So pick up this broken hammer
Fix up all your misspelt grammar
Through the pounding clash and clamour soaring
Words still suffocate like clouds

While the darkness creeps, enshrouds us all
Keep on trying to play the part
Hold resolve right from the start
So you won't cry on depart from me
