just some thoughts...
that angry rival that is the mind
academic contender, whiz of charms
the voices that occupany, drive us to harm
the languages that are silently spoken
between two lovers, fluently executed
feelings erupt inside, angry spitting volcano
Only to remain contained on the surface
The ideas we base upon experience, upon the influence
of drifting ships on scattered waves, violent
to chase us around for a time, then vanish
they leave scars upon before untreaded waters
on before was the appearance of ignorance and naivete-
all now shall be washed ashore
the way that the eyes are our windows
endlessly searching for companions, for purpose
clear as twinkling stars in the cradle
only to be darkened by the world's betrayal
the desire that always finds itself present
the unsettled restlessness of wanting more
and finding nothing but endless preaching
and how the stars move in relation to each other
somewhat neglecting of each other, somehow in proper rotation
the bodies that ignore each other, waste the facts
the ability to never care what exists beneath
our walls, our insecurities, and our passions.
