You no longer hear the words I say

I miss how you used to read me like a book
Never missed a letter
You tore the papers baby
I was entertaining for the moment
but just not a best seller

I guess I will miss the embrace of your skin
and the heat I stole from you
I've stopped looking into your eyes
Because you've stopped undressing me with them
You no longer hear the words I say
Letters dance on thin legs through your empty head

You see my lips moving
but don't understand
Broken words are still broken
And the record in your head started skipping long ago

The third and fourth lines of the second stanza are superb. This poem is an impressive combination of sadness and wit.
