I Love You More

I want to hear your voice again,
And I want to hear it loud.
Don't rush the words you'll never say,
Just slow it, slow it down.

I'm choking on my dreams again.
They're cold, snow-covered trees.
I wished you wouldn't leave that day,
But I'll pretend it's what I need.

I thought I was asleep again,
But the nightmares weren't fake.
I was realizing as I lied in bed
That I was still awake.

The edges ripped and frayed again
On the pictures that we took.
But with or without the photographs,
I can't forget the way you look.

You didn't bring me flowers again,
And you never did before.
You say she loves you and you love her,
But I will always love you more.
