This poem is about the beauty where one does not expect to find it.
On the rocky steep slope,
by the scarce bushes, in thorns,
the dog rose has bloomed.
And the dry sand is underneath,
rocky ground, and long railway tracks.
This simple rose,
open and soft,
white and pink, and
of a plain origin,
is the dog rose flower.

A Dog Rose Flower
