This is sort of playing through my head right now. I am in one of those moods that is loving.

Would I

Would I gently hold your head,
and brush your brow?
And rub just below the temple
and ease your headache somehow.
Until you fell asleep upon our old bed.

Would I say so softly that I care?
And look into your weary eyes
and with you, your sorrows share.
Just to let you know in between your sighs.
That I love you.

Would I let you know as you sleep?
That I pray to angels in heaven your soul to keep.
Would I love you more today than I did the day before?
And be very happy just to listen to you snore.

I would and would I just smile at the silly things you say.
I would and so I would gladly greet each day.
That you and I share as time marches on.
I would, and I would love you and that is written in stone.
