The Joys of Life by M.A.Meddings response to Angela's challenge
The joys of lifeAre
Kissing girls
And what goes before
Then comes after
Blushing and batting eyelids
Cinnamon coloured eyes
Fishing with your mates
Mown grass smells
Watching that Chic
Walk past in a bikini
Looking into a River from a bridge
Pretending to be dead
When I was a kid
Playing cowboys
And Indians
Being able to draw
A street map of Dodge city
Blindfolded
Wishing you were
John Wayne
Or Pierce Brosnan
And being a member
At poetbay
Sunday mornings coming down
Apologies to Kris Kristofferson
