Innocence Felled
Encased and entombed within this lover's wombLocked down and with held once my innocence was felled
Contained,
Broken
Alone,
Unwell
Cloaked in darkness
dressed in hell.
Swallowed by the sinner's hand.
Forever to wear the unwelcomed lover's dark brand.
These scars,
her memories
displayed for all to see.
That lost child's wish -
only to be set free
Healed and whole
Happy and bold
Laughter filled and sunshine willed
Not knowing what she really knows -
huddled down
curled up
shaken and scared
She is burried beneath the weight that she bears
Forever crying and asking why
Wondering when,
just when,
her pain will die.
