J there is so much unsaid
Your voice still rings in my ears
From conversations not so far
And though your tone was laced with layers
The notes played beautifully, lined with sunlight
If you were silent I would still
hear your breathing, heavy,
Your head battling to clear so you
Could still embark on journeys distant
And we served our words back and forth
Bringing thoughts into conscious repute
Rousing fears of reciprocal loss
So much spoken, so much unsaid
A secret you are principal of
My intuition fails me so I'd
rather not risk you jumping ship
I'd rather sacrifice.
You left last night but fill my mind
Continuous, I miss you so
Don't say a word my dream-keeper
Just whistle on the wind
