The remnants are few
And all the sad
Might have beens
Those faded
Desperate
Broken dreams
Fulfillment so it seems
Is yet hard won
And you
Had hardly begun
To know them
For who sees
The cliff side
When they leap
And who knows
When they are
In so deep
That some day
Its Time to walk away
