I Write My Life
Painfully shy as a childHardley a word to say
Yet I can talk on paper
Letting my voice have its way
Life is sometimes mundane
It isn't like stories I've read
So to ward off the bane
Rewriting is done instead
Hope is brought to the front
Optimisim is given a part
Does it alway work
Enough to keep life in my heart
Still, I'd like confidence as a perk
