sorry guys i had this posted before but my crappy computer deleted it sorry.
We both watch creatures get washed up on the ocean shore
We both have families waiting for our arrival
Hoping for our survival
Yet I get this bullet and pierce your heart
They put you in a dead body cart
Your hat rolled to my feet
I saw a little picture on a sheet
It was a picture of a family
One that wasn't waiting for me
But one for the guy I just killed
My heart got filled
With regret
This guy I never met
I had no right to take his life
To take him away from his children and wife
But I done it for my job
I began to sob
I took the picture out of my hat
Of my family and there I sat
Wondering why I killed the other man
He was just like me just a little more tan
He had a family waiting for him to come home
Now this world he'll never roam
He died and I'm free
Why did I kill him he was just like me?
