Why weren't you there when I needed you?

I loved him with everything I knew
He was my life without him I didn't know what to do
You tried to help but you didn't know when he died
After that I couldn't bare it as hard as I tried
I wished you could've been near
You told me you'd always be here
But why at the moment I needed you to care
You had to go on a business trip far out there
I didn't have anyone by my side
No one wiped away all these tears I've cried
You chose to leave when I needed you here
To help me fight away every fear
Why did you leave me?
I needed you so badly couldn't you see?.........
