Walling
They have started building again.
Monstrous tributes
Over dry, tough land
Where lab rats once ran free
Caught between rubble and the past
0ne is never sure.
Caught between competing rhetoric
Submit to their glowing mazes
Perhaps
Hungry dogs will be fed
Faceless men will have nameless jobs
An elegy, to the wilderness this once was
Those silhouttes outside my window
Whose homes collapsed in the flimsy rain
While they buried into asbestos in mud
They will move on
To some other wilderness to tame
Shape some other space
Trampled by other crowds
Rushing to reach that vulgar artistry
