As these petals fall
One by one touching the groundMaking the slightest of a sound
Falling, falling through the air
Gently touching the ground each one with care
The softest of touch
One by one at a time not too much
Twisting and in twining
Two by two lining
Making a path
Potent wrath
As these petals fall
This tree stands tall
