The Questions Of Trick vs. Treat
What is the difference betwen trick and treat? Why do we prefer one over the other?
What exactly is a 'trick'?
What exactly is a 'treat'?
Is a trick simply a joke that people don't want to put up with?
Or is it imagination at work?
How is it imagination you ask?
How is it not?
Do you not have to think about how you are going to punish the [erson for not 'treating you' to a treat for dressing up as a super hero?
Do you not have to ponder the cruel and unusual punishments?
Why do we prefer 'treat'?
Is it the easiest way out for a lazy person?
Are we not encouraging the creative imaginations of our youth?
Are we simply rewarding the efferts of the kid who comes to your door dressed as a t.v. character holding a pillow case?
Why do we always choose treat?
Next time a young child or young teen nocks on your door and ask's the well known question of 'Trick or Treat?'.....
Tell them you'll take the trick...
and challenge them to use thier imagination and punish you with a trick.
Even if you wake up with eggs all over youre front porch....
Just be happy (or dissatisfied) knowing that that is the extent of thier imagination.
** Our youth is loosing its imagination. Chalenge the youth around you to use thier imagination as much as possible even if its making them pick up garabage without directly using thier hands or a garbage bag. Help our youth.
